ROUNDNESS ERROR AND TOPOGRAPHY OF HARD TURNED SURFACES

Accuracy and topography are significant indicators of precision machined high-quality surfaces. Case hardened steel (16MnCr5) was analyzed to obtain information about the effects technological data connections between accuracy (roundness) roughness parameters (Sa, Sz, Ssk, Sku). It found that feed rate has a influence on roundness parameters, there strong relationships these parameter values: correlation coefficients varied 0.78 0.85.
